The T5 HO (High Output) Quartz Germicidal UV-C Lamp is a high-performance UV-C light source specifically designed for professional disinfection applications. The lamp emits UV-C radiation at approximately 253.7 nm, which directly damages the DNA and RNA of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi, and algae, preventing their reproduction and ability to infect.
Compared with conventional quartz germicidal lamps, HO (High Output) technology delivers up to 30–80% higher UV-C output, enabling significantly greater disinfection efficiency. The increased UV intensity allows for shorter treatment times and the disinfection of larger volumes of air and water within the same system.
The special quartz glass envelope provides exceptionally high UV transmittance, maximizing germicidal performance. The compact T5 design combines a small footprint with high UV output, making it an ideal solution for applications where both high performance and space efficiency are essential.
When operated with a suitable electronic ballast, the lamp provides stable UV-C output, reliable operation, and a long service life.
