GPHA212T5L/4 pin 30 Watt
The amalgam UV-C lamp is a high-performance germicidal light source that delivers stable and intense 253.7 nm UV-C radiation for the effective inactivation of bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms. Compared to conventional low-pressure UV-C lamps, amalgam technology provides significantly higher UV output, a longer service life, and more stable performance, particularly under both lower and higher operating temperature conditions.
UVTechnology UV-C lamps can be used as equivalent replacements for lamps from many other manufacturers. If you are unsure about selecting the correct lamp type, wattage or connection, please contact us – based on the technical specifications, we will help you find the appropriate replacement lamp for your equipment.

Details
The amalgam quartz germicidal UV-C lamp is a highly efficient UV-C light source developed for professional disinfection applications. The lamp emits ultraviolet radiation at a wavelength of approximately 253.7 nm, which effectively damages the DNA and RNA of bacteria, viruses, moulds and other microorganisms, thereby preventing their reproduction and infectious activity.
Amalgam technology offers significant advantages over conventional germicidal UV-C lamps. The amalgam filling provides a more stable mercury vapour pressure, enabling higher UV-C output and more consistent operation across a wider temperature range. As a result, amalgam UV-C lamps can provide several times higher UV output, a longer service life and greater energy efficiency.
The special quartz glass envelope provides excellent UV transmittance, maximising disinfection efficiency. When operated with a suitable electronic control gear or ballast, the lamp delivers stable UV output, reliable performance and a long operating life.
One of the most important advantages of amalgam UV-C lamps is their consistent lifetime performance curve. While the UV output of conventional UV-C lamps may decrease significantly during operation, amalgam technology typically allows the initial UV-C output to decline only from approximately 100% to 80% by the end of the lamp’s service life. This provides more predictable disinfection performance, greater operational stability and longer maintenance intervals.
Amalgam UV-C lamps are particularly recommended for high-performance industrial and professional systems, including water disinfection equipment, air treatment systems, industrial processes, food industry applications and high-flow air or water UV-C systems where continuous and intensive disinfection is required.
